Show & Event Technician
The Show & Event Technician will have a specific role on a job site as a representative of IPS. This role will be in either Audio, Video, Lighting, Staging, etc. Our shows and events range in size from 100-person private events to full arena shows for bands, artists, companies, charities, etc. You will potentially be in charge of additional hired local labor (stage hands) to complete load in, load out, and event execution. This position will report to the Project Manager of the event and/or the client’s Account Manager. General knowledge of other production departments is always beneficial, understanding a technician may have a specialty in one department. While a technician may operate in the same department most of the time, there is also importance on IPS as a team succeeding, so helping another department for the betterment of the event or show may be asked.
