redemption to the nations
Redemption to the Nations Church in Chattanooga, TN has a 2,700-seat auditorium which needed an entire AVL overhaul with only a 2-week time frame to complete the installation. Our team crafted audio, video, lighting, rigging, and power systems customized to the client’s needs. The goal was not only to provide an incredible experience for the audience but also provide equipment and training that volunteers could quickly adapt too.
RTTN needed an audio system capable of delivering a consistent experience to every seat. QSC line array and Digico SD series were chosen to meet budget and performance requirements. The four main arrays consisted of ten WideLine 10’s. Twelve GP218-sw ground stack subwoofers provided ample low-end coverage. Full Lake processing maximized the system. At FOH, a DiGiCo SD9 coupled with two SD-Racks met the church’s requirements and allowed them to easily expand for conferences and special events. OCD labs custom I/O plates in the ceiling, walls and rack rooms throughout the entire facility created a completely user customizable system.
SquareV V3 was selected due to excellent image quality and flexibility in future designs. Over 270 panels give RTTN a dynamic stage week to week. The entire LED wall is powered by two Novastar MCTRL4K processors, allowing for full 4K resolution and redundancy.
Elation Professional was chosen for an all-LED lighting solution consisting of 7 Satura Profile, 14 Platinum Seven, 21 Platinum Spot III, 18 ACL 360i, 27 Colour 5 Profile (26 Deg), 6 Colour 5 Profile (36 Deg), and 12 SixBar 500. GrandMA2 provided flexibility for both Sunday services and events such as RUACH conference. Our team worked alongside LynTec to create a power sequencing system that avoided the inrush of electricity to the building which caused a weekly electrical fee for turning on the existing house lights.
The infrastructure for RTTN was designed to allow complete customization for set changes and equipment additions with ease. Custom motor control for 33 Stagemaker hoists and over 300 feet of Tyler Truss support the entire rig.
This complete AVL installation left RTTN able to provide a strong user experience while also reaching a larger audience.
