INTEGRATION PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Integration Project Manager is responsible for managing all AVL installation projects, overseeing them from start to finish. You may be asked to create line drawings, assist in pre-builds and interact with a client for key project information and review project scope and spec to confirm compliance with IPS standards. Your installation experience will be a key factor in helping consult with clients to provide the best system design and installation. On-site project management will be an integral part of your role.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage assigned AVL Construction installation projects overseeing the project from start to finish

  • Verify all products have been received and work with purchaser/salesperson for additional product needs. Ensure customer satisfaction and sign-off

  • Schedule AVL job with installation technicians, clients and coordinate with other trades providing gantt charts and project timelines as required

  • Track and update progress, attend project manager meets and issue detailed reports on Audio Visual projects to management as needed

  • Demonstrate excellent team management and leadership: Schedule and motivate installation teams; ensure team members are completing work as assigned

  • Perform site visits as necessary to confirm AV project progress and completion.

  • Responsible for client satisfaction on projects and communicating progress with customers and staff

  • Manage project budget, schedule and scope of work. Maintain a safe and secure jobsite and ensure all permitting and compliance regulations are met

  • Identify and resolve any changes or issues that may arise during the construction phase, including generating change orders

  • Coordinate and schedule completion of punch list tasks

  • Manage Integrations division inventory providing required accounting to supervisor

  • Perform administrative activities as assigned by your supervisor.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.

  • Be a champion and representative of the company's culture, mission, vision and core-values.

  • Operate Company vehicle for pick-up & delivery if/when necessary, complying to USDOT laws. Able to obtain USDOT medical card and has a valid driver's license and clean driving history.

TRAVEL

  • Travel to customer sites, venues, job locations, and industry events per Integrations Director of Operations.

  • Must be available for up to 50 percent travel and work flexible hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 or more years in AV installation field.

  • Knowledge and attention to the highest levels and best practices in Integrations safety.

  • Proficient (High Level) knowledge of equipment technical and safety limitations (weights, safe rigging, power requirements, etc).

  • Proficient (High Level) knowledge of various brands of lighting, video and audio equipment.

  • Process oriented & technical minded.

  • Thoroughly enjoys working with and helping motivate a team of people to produce a win for both the company and the client.

  • Exceptional customer service mindset and experience.
